What OOP means, in plain terms
OOP is a way of organizing code around objects that bundle together data (properties) and behavior (methods), instead of keeping them separate from each other.
For example, instead of storing a user's name separately from a function that greets them, you can create a single "user" object that holds both together.
The basics of classes in JavaScript
A class is a template for creating objects with the same structure. For example, a `User` class describes that any user has a name and a greeting method, and specific users are then created based on that template.
Inheritance — reusing logic
Inheritance lets one class "inherit" properties and methods from another, adding its own on top. This avoids duplicating code: if an "Admin" has everything a "User" has, plus extra permissions, you don't need to rewrite the shared part from scratch.
